Redevelopment and interior design of an apartment in the residential complex “New History”, St. Petersburg. Total area: 90.2 m2. The disadvantages of the layout of the apartment submitted for consideration by the Customer are the undeveloped “dark zone” of the corridor, hall and dressing room with a total area of 28 sq.m. (about 30 m2 of the total area of the apartment!). At the heart of the decision of the new layout is the meaningful use of this “lost” area with its transformation into an intra-family center – a kitchen-dining room.
Without violating the norms, we added two more children’s rooms with their own bathroom to the two rooms according to the original project. node (aka guest). The television zone is a “soft corner”, a separate, impassable space. A niche with a TV expands the room, above it there are mezzanines used from the side of the bedroom. In the hemmed space above the kitchen, an air conditioner is installed and another mezzanine is organized from the hallway.
